Is there anything better than a golden football shirt? Deportivo La Coruña have unveiled a special anniversary shirt that celebrates their legendary La Liga triumph in the 1999/2000 season and it’s an absolute cracker. The limited edition jersey features a golden base colour, along with a subtle vertical stripe design of a slightly darker shade of gold. The top also showcases a smart, navy button-up collar, main sponsorship from Spanish beer company Estrella Galicia and special 25th anniversary detailing just inside the collar. This new release is limited to just 2500 pieces, each coming with a uniquely numbered badge near the hem. The short sleeve version is limited to 2000 pieces and the long sleeve version will be getting just 500 units produced. The jersey is manufactured by Italian giants Kappa, who have been producing the club’s shirts since 2021.

Back in the 1999/2000 season, Deportivo won their 1st and only La Liga title to date, beating giants of the Spanish top flight like Barcelona, Real Madrid and Valencia to be crowned the champions of Spain. An achievement that iconic deserves to be remembered for generations. We think that a shirt as stunning as Deportivo’s 2025 anniversary jersey, does a brilliant job of honouring that legendary team, helping to keep the memory of the club’s momentous achievement alive for many years to come. In 2025, La Coruna will compete in La LIga 2, the 2nd tier of Spanish football. At the moment, the club are sat in 13th position in the league with 2 games to go and will remain in the division next season.
