Ajax 2023-2024 Away Football Shirt
Every year during release season we ask the same question, do Ajax ever miss? The answer is, quite simply, no . The 23/24 away jersey is part of an incredible trio of shirts released by Ajax this season. The club say that the design of the top is inspired by its “Amsterdam identity”, with Adidas stating that the kits pattern is “inspired by the fluid, geometric architecture”of the legendary club’s neighbourhood.
Unfortunately for Ajax, their amazing shirts have not been matched by the performances on the pitch this season. The club suffered their worst ever start to an Eredivisie season and were in the relegation zone by game-week 7. Their manager, Maurice Stein, was sacked after several fan lead protests.
A match against fierce rivals, Feyenoord, had to be abandoned after Ajax went 3-nil down at home, sparking huge amounts of unrest by their supporters. Ajax have started to recover from their poor start to the season and have climbed up to 5th in the league table, although they are still a whopping 27 points behind leaders PSV.
