Estoril Praia x Ayrton Senna 2025 Fourth Kit
This week G.D Estoril Praia unveiled their brand new fourth shirt for the 2024/25 season, which pays tribute to the late, great Ayrton Senna for the upcoming 40th anniversary of his first F1 win, which came at the Portuguese GP at Circuito Do Estoril in 1985.
Manufactured by Kappa, this special edition jersey features a base colour of black, along with a 3 stripe pattern across the chest area, in the colours of green, yellow and blue which match the colours worn on Senna’s helmet when he drove his Lotus 97T to his first F1 victory. The jersey also has blackout badges and a smart button up collar. Singular golden stripes can be found on the sleeve ends and on the collar itself, inspired by the black and gold colours of the JPS livery used on Senna’s Lotus. Estoril’s men’s first team will be wearing the special kit on April 19th, during a Liga Portugal home match against S.C Braga at the Estadio Antonio Coimbra Da Mota. Sadly, the jersey will not be made available to the public.
G.D Estoril currently sit in 9th place in Liga Portugal with 39 points and a -8 GD. The club has won 2 of its last 5 matches in the competition, with tough fixtures against Braga and Casa Pia coming up. The club are nicknamed Canarinhos (Canaries in English) due to their bright yellow home strips. If Estoril finish the season in their current 9th position, it will be their joint highest finish in the Portuguese top flight since the 2021/22 season.
