PACHUCA 21/22 THIRD Football SHIRT
For this week's edition of Shirt Of The Week, we are featuring the striking Pachuca 21/22 third shirt. The design of the shirt includes pink ribbons, which is the international symbol for breast cancer awareness, making it popularly known as the "Pink October" kit. This shirt is part of a special campaign by manufacturer Charley called "we play for a cause." Every time this kit was sold, a portion of the proceeds was donated to different breast cancer awareness charities and projects. The initiative was also taken by five other teams, including Atlas FC, Santos Laguna, Club Tijuana, Club Leon, and Club Queretaro.
The 2021/22 season had its ups and downs for Los Tuzos. Despite finishing in 15th place during the Apertura season, the club made a remarkable comeback in the Clausura, eventually finishing in first place. They went on to reach the Clausura final but lost 3-2 on aggregate to previous champions Atlas FC.
C.F. Pachuca is the oldest team currently playing in the LIGA MX, being founded in 1901 by British miners who had emigrated from the UK.
