Peñarol 2025 134th anniversary Kit
Kit news from Uruguay now where Club Atlético Peñarol have released a brand new anniversary jersey, to celebrate the club’s upcoming 134th birthday!
The new anniversary jersey features the club's traditional home colours of yellow and black with a vertical stripe design. This together with the Puma logo long sleeves creates an unmatched retro look. Other design features include an old school black collar with a yellow stars design, that takes inspiration from the club's crest. An 1891 badge just under the back of the collar, representing the year the club was founded and a special badge near the hem that celebrates the club’s 2nd “Quinquenio De Oro” or “Golden Five-Year Period”, when the side won 5 league titles back to back, from 1993-1997. The shirt is manufactured by Puma who have been producing the club’s kits since 2006 after taking over from Umbro. Main front sponsorship for the jersey comes from telecommunications company Antel.
Peñarol currently sit at the top of the Uruguayan Primera Division (Clausura) on 16 points, just ahead of Cerro Largo on goal difference and 1 point clear of 3rd place Boston River. The 2025 134th anniversary jersey was released on Wednesday September 17th via the club’s online store.
