Watford FC 2025-26 Third Kit
This week, Watford FC have announced their new third kit for the 2025/26 season and it’s a real beauty!
The shirt pays tribute to the club’s most iconic fan, Sir Elton John as part of the celebrations for the upcoming 50th anniversary of him becoming chairman of The Hornets, back in 1976. This special jersey features a base colour of blue, along with silver badges, sponsorship and sleeve detailing together with a striking sublimated star pattern. Elton himself was very engaged in the design of the new shirt, which was heavily inspired by the album art of his greatest hits record Diamonds. The shirt also features some nice touches including Elton’s logo on the sleeves and back of the jersey. Lyrics from Your Song, also on the reverse reading “How wonderful life is while you’re in the world”. As well as a classic Watford logo near the hem that was the club’s badge when Elton became chairman in 1976. Each jersey purchased from Watford’s online store will come encased in a special gift box.
Watford FC currently sit 14th in the EFL Championship with 5 points from their opening 4 games. Their next matches will see them face Blackburn Rovers at home on September 13th, followed by a trip to Millwall on the 22nd of September before hosting Hull City on September 27th.
