The new Premier League season is in full swing and with it has come some sensational (and dreadful), shirts of all different styles, colours and designs. In this article we are going to focus on what we think are the best Premier League shirt releases of the season so far. We’ve closely examined the full catalogue of home, away and third kits from all 20 clubs and 7 unique manufacturers. Remember this is just our opinion and not gospel! If you think we’ve missed any tops out be sure to let us know via our socials.

We kick off our list with a true banger. The Magpies 2024/25 away top is a thing of beauty! Taking inspiration from the club's 1995/96 away kit, the shirt features a maroon and blue horizontal striped design with a smart white crew neck collar and sleeve stripes. The retro look of the shirt is also helped by the enlarged club crest and Adidas badges, featuring on most of the German manufacturers jersey’s this season. This top is sure to be one that will be remembered by the toon army for many years to come!

Manchester United and the colour blue. It’s often been a match made in heaven when it comes to their away or third kit designs over the years. This season United along with Adidas have come up with another blue beauty with their 2024/25 away shirt. This jersey comes with matching silver badges, sponsorship and sleeve stripes, on top of a gorgeous navy base colour. The core design features striking sublimation of the letter “M” in the shirt’s material. A very classy button up collar is also one of the kit's major highlights.

AFC Bournemouth have hit us with a very unique colour combination this season, with this turquoise and rose gold third kit! The material of the shirt brings a nice shine to the base colour and works perfectly with the aquatic inspired pattern, which showcases waves and seashells across the front of the jersey. We think this is definitely one of the best shirts umbro has produced for The Cherries, in their current 7 year long partnership.

Tottenham 2024-2025 Third Shirt

For the new Premier League season, Nike released a special trio of third kits for Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham. These third kits all feature a unique twist on the famous Nike swoosh, with the famous logo appearing upside down on the new jerseys! We think the best of this threesome is the marvellous Spurs 2024/25 third shirt. The kits stunning green pattern is said to be inspired by the “Seven Sisters” elm trees located in Tottenham, which have stood at Page Green Common for hundreds of years, becoming a much loved local landmark. Front sponsorship from AIA returns for an 11th consecutive season on Tottenham’s jerseys.

An abstract take on the club's legendary 1984 European Championship winning shirt, is the headline of Liverpool’s newest home kit. The new jersey features the classic red colourway, along with yellow badges and a unique pinstripe pattern. Standard Chartered returns as the main shirt sponsor for a 15th consecutive season. This season will be Nike’s final year for the foreseeable designing The Red’s jerseys, with Adidas taking over the reins from the 2025/26 season. Nike are definitely bowing out on a high with this year’s home jersey.

Fulham 2024-2025 Third Shirt

Fulham have gone with an exciting, purple camouflage pattern for their 2024/25 third kit. Interestingly, it’s the same template that was used by Adidas on some kits from last season, such as the Olympiacos away jersey. Incredibly this is the first time we’ve seen this colour on any of Fulham’s outfield kits in the club’s history! The kit also has white colour matched badges, sleeve stripes and sponsorships. This stunning jersey is due to be worn by the likes of Raul Jimenez, Emile Smith Rowe and Rodrigo Muniz in the Premier League this season.

Everton 2024-2025 Third Shirt

If teams could pick up Premier League points for kit designs, we think Everton would be right up in the Champions League places with this beauty! The Toffee’s 2024/25 third shirt is composed of a luscious off white base colour, with fine vertical pinstripes in the design. The top was produced to mark the 100th anniversary of the Chicago White Sox and the New York Giants playing an exhibition baseball match at Goodison Park, on the 23rd October 1924. This season is the debut year for Castore making Everton’s shirts, taking over from Hummel who had been partnered with the club since 2020.

Aston Villa 2024-2025 Home Shirt

Villa had been deprived of a great home shirt for a long time, this season Adidas have taken over the reins with a bang, producing this super clean jersey. It’s nothing crazy design wise, but sometimes there is beauty in simplicity and just getting the basics right. The classic claret and light blue colours feature, combined with an ultra smart striped collar and large club crest. A small “AV 150” mark can be found below the back of the collar, to celebrate the club’s 150th anniversary.

The Blue’s gorgeous brand new away shirt showcases a clean, cream base colour together with flashes of orange and blue on the badge, sleeves and side panels. The club crest itself utilises a shiny rubber material that glistens in the sunlight on the pitch. While some sponsorships can enhance the look of a kit, we think this is definitely a jersey that suits the sponsorless look.
